The cold pressed production of TIANA Organic Coconut Flour
TIANA Coconut Flour is produced under strict hygienic conditions set by internationally accepted quality control standards. State of the art manufacturing equipment are used to produce TIANA coconut flour that has not been treated with sulphites, no flavour enhances or sweeteners are added, so our consumers are guaranteed 100% pure, healthy and delicious gluten free coconut flour.
Following the initial quality control inspection test, the coconuts go through a process of shelling – i.e. removing the hard shell and then paring where the brown kernel and the water inside the white coconut meat is removed.
The removed coconut meat then undergoes another quality control inspection test before being subjected to washing, where the coconut meat is washed under high pressure clean water and then cut into small uniform pieces.
The next step is the extraction process which is cold pressed, using the most sophisticated, stainless steel machinery. The extraction process separates oil from solids and the remaining coconut residue is put through the expeller process, then pulverised before undergoing the final quality control inspection test in our factory’s modern laboratory facilities for a period of 5 to 7 days where it is tested physically, chemically and microbiologically before being approved for packaging and storage.
Organic certification is carried out by ECOCERT in the factory and by UK Farmers and Growers Association when TIANA coconut products arrive in the UK. All of this ensures that the highest quality, fibre rich, organic, wheat and gluten free coconut flour reaches you in pristine condition ready to optimise your diet.
