Coconut oil beverages and smoothies


Use TIANA Organic Extra Virgin Coconut Oil for making delicious smoothies and various drinks.

You can make coconut oil drinks using TIANA Organic Virgin Coconut Oil by mixing with milk or juices.

When you use our Extra virgin coconut oil it is solid because it has 24-27 °C melting points; above this temperature TIANA Organic Extra Virgin Coconut Oil becomes a crystal clear liquid and below this temperatures it solidifies and takes on a creamy appearance, but this does not affect its quality or taste.

That is why you should place the coconut oil jar in hot water for a few minutes in order for the oil to melt and slightly warm up a cup of milk. Mix in 1 tablespoon of melted coconut oil. Do not expect that coconut oil will mix completely in the milk or juice, after stirring the mixture vigorously drink it immediately before the oil separates.

In order to make coconut oil smoothie, you should also warm up coconut oil and than mixed with coconut milk first. The other ingredients are added afterwards.

How to make a delicious coconut oil mango smoothie


Mango smoothie using TIANA Organic Extra Virgin Coconut Oil

Ingredients

1 cup TIANA Coconut Milk
2 tablespoons TIANA Organic Extra Virgin Coconut Oil
1 cup orange juice
1 fresh mango, peeled and pitted
Instead of mango you can use 1 cup fresh pineapple and 1 banana.

Blend coconut milk and melted oil together in blender. Add orange juice and mango and blend until smooth.

Make your own treats with cottage cheese or yogurt


TIANA pure delicious coconut oil blends well with cottage cheese or yogurt. Combine a half of cup of cottage cheese with tablespoon of TIANA Organic Extra Virgin Coconut Oil. Mix thoroughly, pulverising the curds and add a little pineapple.

Homemade ice-cream using TIANA Organic Extra Virgin Coconut Oil.


The best way to make ice-cream with an ice-cream maker which produces a smooth light product that is superior in taste and texture, however if you do not have an ice-cream maker you can use a blender.

TIANA Organic Extra Virgin Coconut Oil gives the ice-cream a richer, creamier taste and texture, especially if you use TIANA Coconut Cream. It can be omitted if you use TIANA Coconut Milk.

How to make delicious Coconut Vanilla Ice-Cream

Ingredients

¼ cup TIANA Organic Extra Virgin Coconut Oil
1 can (400ml) TIANA Coconut Cream
2.5 tablespoons sugar
Dash of salt
1 egg, beaten
1 tablespoon vanilla

Preparation

1. Combine coconut cream, coconut oil, sugar and salt in saucepan. Cook over medium heat until mixture almost boils and reduce heat to low.
2. In bowl beat egg. Gradually stir about 0.5 cup of hot coconut cream. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly until slightly thickened.
3. Stir in vanilla. Remove from heat and let cool. The mixture must be cool but not frozen solid. Use ice-cream maker or blender to finish.
4. Put the mixture in ice-cream maker or blender. While blending, the mixture should take on the appearance and texture of a thick milkshake. Eat immediately or pour the ice-cream into an airtight container and freeze.
